![]() The Landau store is a retail fixture on Nassau Street in Princeton. This is a story about a museum dedicated to a genius in the back of a clothing store. Tales are told of Einstein being given directions home by police, who were called after residents reported the tousle-haired chap in a tattered sweater rambling aimlessly around the neighborhood.Īnd by the way, slides containing portions of Einstein’s brain are on view at the Me1/4tter Museum in Philadelphia. There is a bronze bust of the scientist in the town green on Stockton Street, and the home in which he lived from 1935 to 1955 still stands at 112 Mercer St.Īlthough he and his family urged that it never be a museum or historical site attraction, it has been listed as both a state and a national historic landmark.
